Key responsibilities:
Curate and program the USA TODAY Entertainment homepage and craft app alerts to showcase timely content
Create engaging social media content, including videos, that resonates with USA TODAY Entertainment audiences
Partner with reporters and editors to amplify coverage and execute user-generated content strategies
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in a digitally-focused news organization, with a strong emphasis on entertainment content
Proficiency in creating content optimized for social media and experience with platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Understanding of journalistic ethics and best practices, with a commitment to detail and accuracy
Experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics and social engagement insights to inform content strategies
