Orem, UT

offers

$15 per hour

for a student team member who will partner with an interdisciplinary group to design thoughtful interfaces and deliver production-ready design work.

What you’ll do
As a UI/UX Design Project Team Member, you will help shape digital products from early discovery to design delivery. Your work will span user research and testing, interaction design, and visual interface development for both desktop and mobile.

Conduct user research, define

user personas , and create

user journey maps/flows .

Design

low- to high-fidelity wireframes , mockups, and

interactive prototypes .

Establish or maintain

scalable Design Systems , component libraries, and UI style guides.

Plan and conduct

usability tests , then iterate based on feedback.

Work closely with project managers, developers, and clients to support

design feasibility

and a smooth developer handoff.

Apply

web accessibility standards

and

responsive design best practices

for desktop and mobile interfaces.

Manage design deliverables, balance project priorities, and meet

deadline milestones .

What you bring

Must be a

current UVU student , preferably studying

Web Design & Development ,

Digital Media ,

Computer Science , or a related field.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a

multidisciplinary team .

Organizational skills

and the ability to meet project deadlines.

Experience using primary UI/UX and prototyping tools such as

Figma ,

Adobe XD , or

Sketch .

Understanding of

user-centered design (UCD) methodology ,

design systems , and

visual communication .

Basic understanding of front-end capabilities ( HTML/CSS ) and

responsive frameworks

is a plus.
