DanceBUG is hiring

Videographers

for our February–June dance competition season. If you’ve filmed sports, concerts, weddings, theatre or other live events, we’ll provide the equipment and teach you everything you need to know about capturing dance.
You shoot. We provide the gear, travel and training — and we handle post-production.
What You Get

Starting at $25/hour
Overtime after 40 hours/week

Thursday/Friday through Sunday/Monday

Throughout the United States
What You’ll Do

Travel to dance competitions across the U.S.
Capture live performances using professional video equipment
Set up and operate camera and livestream systems
Monitor video feeds and production equipment throughout events
Work alongside other DanceBUG media team members
Upload and manage event media
We’ll Train You

No dance experience required.
Every new Videographer receives virtual training in January followed by

at least two live training events

alongside experienced team members before working independently.
If you know cameras and live production,

we’ll teach you dance and the DanceBUG workflow.
Experience We’re Looking For

Experience in any of the following is a plus:
Sports
Live Events
Weddings
Concerts
Theatre
Broadcasting
Film Production
Livestreaming
OBS
Multi-Camera Production
Jib Operation
You don’t need experience in every area. We’re looking for people who are

comfortable with cameras, technology and fast-paced live production environments.
Requirements

Authorized to work in the United States
Live within approximately one hour of a major airport
Valid U.S. driver’s license
Available for regular weekend travel throughout the February–June season
Comfortable driving approximately 5–6 hours when required
Comfortable working long production days
Able to lift approximately 50 lbs
Able to successfully complete a criminal background check
