Science News Intern — Hybrid Reporter (NYC/DC)

Nature Portfolio seeks a News Intern for Nature News, a paid, full-time writing internship from January to June 2027. The role is based in Washington DC or New York City, with a hybrid work pattern that blends office presence and remote work.
Interns cover must-read science stories, including science policy, travel locally for reporting, and may eventually pitch their own features. Top candidates have a strong science and journalism background and aim to inform researchers and decision makers.
