Location: New York, NY — on-site 5 days/week
Type: Full-time, permanent
Compensation: $120,000–$170,000 base (DOE)
About the Company The business is a fast-growing, well-funded MarTech/AdTech scale-up with serious momentum — a rapidly expanding go-to-market org, an extremely high-velocity events calendar, and a growing appetite for account-based marketing to match.
The Role This is a newly created role: the first dedicated Field Marketing hire in the US, reporting into a senior marketing leader with a global remit. You'd be building the function from scratch, with genuine scope for autonomy and creative ownership.
This is not a traditional "events manager" position. My client is looking for someone who combines a genuine campaign mindset with a willingness to do the hands-on, logistical work — someone who's just as comfortable shaping an ABM strategy as they are pulling up a banner stand on-site.
You'll effectively represent field marketing for the whole company out of HQ — sales leadership and senior execs will look to you for visibility into what's happening in the field, so this is a highly connected, highly visible seat.
Core responsibilities: Build and execute multi-touch field marketing campaigns around tradeshows, conferences, regional events, and ABM initiatives — pre, during, and post
Own tradeshow strategy end-to-end: target accounts, messaging, pre-event outreach, booth experience, on-site execution, post-event conversion
Partner closely with Sales/SDRs on ICPs, account lists, outreach sequences, meeting goals, and follow-up
Actively support pipeline generation — booking meetings, pitching on the floor, jumping into conversations
Design and run one-to-few and one-to-many field ABM programs spanning events, direct mail, social, and outbound
Partner with Product Marketing and Content/Social teams, feeding field intel (objections, themes, buzzwords) back into campaigns and sales tools
Manage vendors, sponsorships, logistics, timelines, and budgets
Track and report on meetings held, pipeline influenced, conversion, and qualitative sales feedback
What We’re Looking For This is much more about mindset and fit than a specific skills checklist:
A genuine "roll up your sleeves" attitude — you say "yes, and" rather than "that’s not my job"
True individual contributor intent — you want to be hands‑on, not winding down from a people‑leadership track
Comfortable having direct, honest conversations with sales leadership, including holding them accountable
Data‑minded and focused on pipeline and influence, not just activity
Genuinely energized (not intimidated) by a packed, fast‑moving events calendar
Some ABM experience — company size or background is flexible; a mix of startup pace and more structured company experience is a plus, but not a hard requirement
Fully able to commit to being in the NYC office 5 days a week
Why Apply A true seat at the table — build a function from the ground up with real autonomy
Work directly with senior GTM and marketing leadership
High visibility across the business, including with senior sales leaders and the executive team
