Writing news releases, pitches, and press materials, the full-time Media Writer will support PETA's campaigns and events while working remotely.
Key responsibilities

Draft and edit news releases, pitches, and official letters for media outreach
Prepare interview facts and statements for staff spokespeople related to campaigns
Review and assess news release request forms for appropriateness of content

Required qualifications

Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years of professional writing experience, preferably in journalism
Extensive knowledge of the media industry
Interest in animal liberation issues and PETA campaigns
Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
