Responsibilities

- Evaluate global innovation concepts for U.S. consumer desirability, differentiation, cultural relevance, brand fit, demand potential, and initial size of prize using consumer, category, competitive, retail, and performance data.

- Analyze the innovation portfolio to identify franchise roles, whitespace opportunities, overlaps, gaps, cannibalization risks, sequencing issues, and growth opportunities.

- Consolidate and prioritize cross-functional U.S. feedback for global product teams, covering propositions, assortments, naming, claims, proof points, assets, pricing assumptions, samples, and market requirements.

- Manage innovation workplans, milestones, decision logs, readiness deliverables, working-team meetings, risks, and escalations while coordinating with Insights, Finance, Sales, Trade Marketing, Activation, Operations, Regulatory, Supply, and other partners.

- Prepare portfolio reviews and leadership materials, track post-launch performance and learning, and support annual planning, competitive reviews, budget tracking, agency coordination, and senior presentations.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with 2–4 years of experience in brand marketing, innovation strategy, consumer insights, portfolio analysis, or a related discipline; CPG, beauty, or omnichannel experience preferred.

- Strong consumer-marketing orientation with the ability to translate qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear findings, recommendations, and concise presentations or briefs.

- Strong analytical skills and experience working with market, category, financial, pricing, distribution, and performance data to estimate opportunities and assess portfolio implications.

- Excellent project-management, organization, communication, and attention-to-detail skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, deadlines, documentation, and stakeholders.

- Ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority, synthesize complex information, follow through on commitments, escalations constructively, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
