We need a proactive, detail-oriented Media Supervisor to help lead the development, execution, optimization, and reporting of healthcare and pharma media campaigns. This person will bring strong media planning experience, solid digital fluency, and a growing understanding of healthcare and pharma media. Mediaspace Health employees have strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a desire to learn and grow within the company. We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial spirit who works independently and is willing to jump in where needed to successfully grow the business.This position reports to the Director of Healthcare Media.

Position Overview
The Media Supervisor helps manage the planning, development, execution, optimization, and reporting of integrated media campaigns for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. This role works closely with Media Directors, account teams, operations, analytics, search and social partners, publishers, and media vendors to develop recommendations, evaluate opportunities, manage budgets, monitor campaign performance, and ensure media plans are executed accurately.

This is a hands-on role for someone who balances strategic thinking with executional oversight. The Media Supervisor will own assigned workstreams with limited direction, help identify opportunities and issues, support client-facing discussions, and ensure that media plans and campaigns are organized, accurate, and aligned with client objectives.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and manage healthcare and pharma media recommendations across HCP, patient, caregiver, payer, and healthcare decision-maker audiences

Translate client objectives, audience needs, budget parameters, timing, and campaign goals into a clear media plan and tactical recommendations across channels within endemic healthcare media environments

Evaluate publisher and vendor proposals, including audience fit, targeting capabilities, media formats, pricing, timing, reporting, optimizations, added value, and overall strategic fit

Review media plans for accuracy, completeness, budget, timing, and executional feasibility.

Have a solid understanding of search and social media platforms’ ecosystems and formats and nuances for pharma advertisers

Utilize research and reports to write media POVs and recommendations considering audience information, product usage information, etc.

Maintain a strong working understanding of healthcare and pharma media, including HCP, patient, caregiver, payer, and institutional audiences

Understand the differences between branded and unbranded media, disease awareness campaigns, rare disease education, launch support, adherence messaging, and non-personal promotion

Apply knowledge of pharma planning considerations, including MLR review, patient privacy, HIPAA/PHI sensitivity, targeting limitations, fair balance considerations, and healthcare-specific measurement challenges

Stay current on healthcare media trends, new vendors, audience behaviors, social platform changes, endemic media opportunities, programmatic capabilities, search trends, and emerging measurement approaches

Research disease states, audience segments, competitors, media partners, and healthcare media opportunities to support client recommendations or new business efforts

Help identify when healthcare audience nuances, regulatory limitations, or measurement challenges may impact media recommendations or campaign execution

Support new business and RFP efforts through development of pitch decks and planning materials that demonstrate Mediaspace Health’s understanding of healthcare audiences, media opportunities, and campaign execution considerations

Participate in internal new business discussions and help senior media leads prepare recommendations, budgets, and supporting rationale.

Campaign Execution & Stewardship

Oversee day-to-day campaign stewardship for assigned accounts, including setup, launch, pacing, optimizations, reporting, and post-campaign analysis.

Review campaign details for accuracy and partner with cross-functional internal teams and media partners to manage campaign timelines, deliverables, specs, creative needs, insertion orders, trafficking requirements, partner communications, and reporting expectations.

Support issue resolution by identifying challenges, gathering relevant information, recommending next steps, and keeping internal teams informed.

Maintain knowledge of Google Campaign Manager and other digital trafficking tools and processes. Support asset management, trafficking coordination, tracking tags, UTMs, and campaign setup requirements as needed.

Plan, manage, or oversee campaigns within Basis, our in-house DSP, or other approved media platforms, depending on campaign needs and internal workflow.

Reporting, Analysis & Optimization

Help gather, review, and organize performance data from media partners, platforms, internal reporting tools, screenshots, and site-served reports.

Help prepare reporting decks, performance summaries, pacing updates, and post-campaign recaps. Evaluate campaign success based on audience, objective, and KPI, including NPI engagement and other healthcare-relevant measures

Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights for internal teams and clients.

Ensure reporting is accurate, clearly organized, connected to campaign goals, and written in a client-ready manner.

Coordinate monthly billing with publishers, RMP, and finance teams, helping ensure system entries, invoices, and budget reconciliations are accurate.

Client & Internal Communication

Serve as media contact for assigned accounts, working closely with senior media leads and account teams. Participate in client calls, media presentations, reporting discussions, and campaign status meetings as appropriate

Prepare client-facing materials and follow-up documentation, clearly communicating media recommendations, campaign updates, performance trends, next steps, and partner feedback

Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, publishers, and media partners through responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail

Provide day-to-day guidance to Media Planners, Assistant Media Planners or other team members, on assigned responsibilities, helping junior team members understand the planning, buying and stewardship process in context of the healthcare and pharma landscape

Contribute to a collaborative, positive team environment built on accountability, curiosity, responsiveness, and high-quality work

Work closely with Account Development, operations, analytics, finance, and leadership teams to ensure coordination from planning through execution

Identify opportunities to assist in development of new processes and procedures to streamline execution of digital plans

Coordinate monthly billing with publishers, RMP and finance teams, entering data into the system ensuring accuracy

Required Experience & Qualifications

4–6+ years of media planning, media buying, digital media, or account support experience.

Healthcare, pharma, life sciences, medical device, diagnostics, or regulated-category experience is strongly preferred.

Strong working knowledge of digital media channels such as display, video, programmatic, paid social, paid search, native, email, and content-based media programs.

Exposure to HCP, patient, caregiver, payer, or healthcare stakeholder media is strongly preferred.

Experience developing media plans, flowcharts, budgets, RFPs, reporting, and campaign stewardship

Experience monitoring campaign pacing, reviewing performance, identifying insights, and recommending optimizations.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts, campaigns, tasks, and timelines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare client-ready materials in Excel and Powerpoint.

Experience with tools such as Google Campaign Manager, Basis, IAS, PowerBI, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar media planning, trafficking, reporting, or analytics platforms is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field preferred
