Pay:

Job type:
Full Time

Charney Companies is a fully integrated real estate development, construction, brokerage, and management firm focused on developing, owning, and operating first-class residential and commercial real estate in the New York City Metro area. From ground-up construction to adaptive reuse and value-add repositioning, Charney plays an integral role in all aspects of the development process – combining creative vision with a tech-driven approach to deliver superior products to the marketplace and best-in-class returns for investors. Beyond their own portfolio, Charney extends their expertise to third-party clients through brokerage and property management services, bringing the same standard of excellence to every engagement. Charney owns, operates, and is under construction on over three million square feet throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan and has earned awards and recognition from municipal organizations and media outlets for their work.

Our work blends architecture, culture, community, and lifestyle, and we hold a high bar for visual storytelling across every platform. Our creative output reflects who we are as a brand: cinematic, modern, minimal, design forward, and editorial in tone. As we grow, we are building an in-house content team that elevates our story and showcases the developments, neighborhoods, and people that define Charney.

What You Will Do

  • Build, maintain, and manage detailed content calendars across all Charney social accounts, including brand level and individual property accounts
  • Implement proven growth strategies to increase followers and engagement across all accounts
  • Ensure all content aligns with predefined content pillars, brand guidelines, and platform best practices
  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
  • Coordinate with internal creative partners to manage timelines, approvals, and delivery of assets
  • Monitor and track performance metrics across platforms and prepare regular reports on engagement, reach, and growth
  • Flag trends, insights, and performance learnings to inform future planning
  • Manage day to day community engagement including comments and direct messages, escalating inquiries when appropriate
  • Maintain organized systems for captions, hashtags, assets, and account documentation
  • Ensure consistency in voice, tone, cadence, and posting quality across a growing portfolio of accounts

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the editorial calendar and content strategy across all accounts
  • Translate direction from marketing, business development, and creative teams into a concrete, scheduled content plan
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of the content production team: briefing, scheduling, and reviewing deliverables
  • Post scheduled content and handle day-to-day comment and DM response across accounts

Who You Are

  • 3+ years managing organic social media strategy and execution, ideally across multiple brands or accounts at once
  • Growth marketing experience, with a real track record of growing social media accounts, not just maintaining them
  • Experience running editorial calendars and production workflows, not just producing content yourself
  • A clear communicator who can brief and manage content producers
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple accounts without losing quality

Perks and Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Professional development support and industry exposure
