Tech Writer/Content Developer

Job role: Tech Writer/Content Developer

Duration: 12-months contract

Location: Remote

Must Haves:
Technical content creation for SaaS or enterprise software preferably related to deployments OR implementations working with delivery teams (partners, consultants, implementation engineers, DevOps teams, integrations teams
Design technical training content and translate it into self-paced eLearning courseware - needs to be comfortable starting with product behavior/SME input and turning it into objectives, scripts, scenarios, assessments which will then be used to create their courseware builds
Artificial Intelligence fluency that applies to content development - uses LLMs and prompts to mine existing artifacts and feedback, draft structured scenarios and assessments and iterate content while owning instructional and technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Training Development Design and develop technical eLearning content, including new courses, updates, and delta training for rapid product release cycles.
Translate deployment procedures, configuration settings, integrations, workflows, and troubleshooting processes into clear training modules.
Create hands-on labs, practical exercises, and job-ready learning experiences for implementation teams.
Develop scenario- and workflow-based training that illustrates deployment sequencing, decision points, and best practices.
Apply instructional design methodologies such as Backward Design, 4MAT, or similar frameworks to create outcome-driven learning experiences.
Focus content on real-world deployment challenges and partner use cases rather than theoretical concepts.
Content Maintenance & Continuous Improvement Maintain and update existing training content in alignment with product releases and roadmap changes.
Plan and deliver training updates ahead of release and renewal cycles.
Leverage AI tools, prompts, learner feedback, and support data to identify microlearning opportunities and accelerate content development.
Ensure all materials align with established standards, templates, and accessibility requirements.
Collaboration & Delivery Partner with SMEs, Professional Services, Product teams, and training stakeholders across multiple time zones.
Manage priorities and communicate progress through Jira and other collaboration tools.
Package and configure courses within the LMS environment in partnership with LMS administrators.
Support end-to-end testing, deployment, and launch activities for training programs.
Work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications

Experience 8+ years of experience in: Technical Content Development
Instructional Design
Learning Experience Design (LXD)

Strong background supporting post-sales SaaS or enterprise software implementations and deployment enablement.
Recent experience (within the last 3-5 years) creating technical training for: Implementation Consultants
Deployment Engineers
Solution Architects
DevOps Teams
Integration Teams
