Statehouse Reporter: Investigative & Explanatory Beat

Lee Enterprises’ St. Louis Post-Dispatch seeks a hard-charging statehouse reporter to cover Missouri government, politics and policy.
The role includes the Legislature, the governor, and key state leaders, with a focus on digging deep, following the money, and clarifying complex decisions for readers across platforms. We want someone who can produce daily coverage and longer investigations, with strong explanatory journalism.
