The AV technicians may need to go to the field. In general, contract personnel will travel to field locations with staff. If contract personnel must travel independently using their personal vehicle, the Department will reimburse them for eligible mileage at the applicable IRS or GSA mileage reimbursement rate.
Job Summary

We are seeking experienced

Audio Visual (AV) Technicians

to provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting for audio-visual systems used in daily operations. The AV Technician will diagnose and resolve routine AV issues, inspect equipment, and coordinate with internal teams and AV consultants to ensure reliable system operation.
Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite technical support for audio-visual systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve routine AV hardware, connectivity, and system issues.
Inspect AV equipment and identify the cause of technical problems.
Support AV equipment such as displays, projectors, microphones, speakers/audio systems, video conferencing equipment, and related connectivity.
Respond to different locations/divisions as needed to provide AV technical assistance.
Coordinate with internal technical teams and AV consultants to resolve issues.
Document troubleshooting activities, technical issues, and resolutions.
Ensure AV systems are functioning properly for day-to-day operations.
Required Qualifications

Hands-on professional experience supporting and troubleshooting

Audio Visual (AV) systems .
Experience diagnosing and resolving AV hardware, audio, video, cabling, connectivity, or system-related issues.
Familiarity with common AV equipment, including displays/projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and related components.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide onsite technical support at multiple locations as required.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Must be available to begin work on

October 1, 2026 .
Must successfully complete the required

background investigation

prior to starting the assignment.
