Audio Visual Technician Job at Manpower in Monterey

Our client, Audio-Visual Services is seeking a Audio-Visual Technician to join their team. As a Audio-Visual Technician, you will be part of the AV Operations team supporting live events, presentations, and digital signage environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong troubleshooting mindset, reliable communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on setting.

Monterey, CA

Pay Range: $28.50/ Hourly

Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

What's the Job?
Troubleshoot and repair AV equipment including digital signage, displays, speakers, microphones, interactives, and more
Respond to technical support calls and provide quick, practical solutions
Support live events, presentations, performances, and streaming setups
Set up and break down AV equipment for special events and programs
Assist with installing and configuring new AV hardware, plus perform routine maintenance such as replacing batteries, cleaning equipment, and testing systems
What's Needed?

Associate degree in AV Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining AV systems
Strong computer skills (Mac & PC) and basic networking knowledge
Interest in electronics, carpentry, fabrication, or soldering
Valid California Driver's License (or ability to obtain one)
