Summary

Individual will be the primary contact for requests to transfer and transport patients. Will coordinate and monitor transport by ground ambulance, helicopter and fixed wing aircraft and accurately document all related written and computerized information in a dynamic, fast paced, high volume, high-stress environment. Individual should be highly organized and have strong customer service, communication and computer skills, and have the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
Education

High School Diploma
State certified EMT, EMT-P, or EMD certification with 1-2 years EMS and/or dispatch experience.
Typing 40 - 50 wpm preferred
Certification/Licensure

Texas certified EMT, EMT-P, or certified EMD
BLS (within 90 days of employment)
Metro Communications Center Training (within 1 year of employment)
