Marketing Manager II / Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Location: Lake Mary, FL, Willingness to travel an average of 2 days per week within Florida
Contract duration: 12-month contract, possibility of extension or conversion
Description : The Intermediate Stakeholder Engagement Manager plays a key role in advancing the company’s stakeholder engagement strategy for large-scale transmission projects throughout Florida. This position leads strategic outreach efforts for low- to medium-risk projects, including new infrastructure construction and enhancements to existing transmission assets to promote stakeholder awareness, build trust, and support successful project execution.
Responsibilities Developing and managing strategic engagement plans that enable the successful execution of those large, complex transmission projects
Engaging and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders
Serving as a key project team member advocating for the public's interests and negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes
Developing external communications strategies in coordination with internal stakeholders
Developing proactive strategies to manage potential opposition related to transmission projects
Interacting with external stakeholders to identify solutions to issues that support the overall project goals
Required Qualifications Extensive experience in infrastructure, utility, or gas industries
Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic outreach and communication plans
Excellent collaboration and negotiation capabilities
Skilled in external communications and proactive opposition management
Nice to Have Skills: Experience with transmission projects or related infrastructure
Knowledge of public outreach and community engagement in large-scale projects
Familiarity with project management tools and stakeholder engagement platforms
Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field
Several years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement or related roles, ideally within infrastructure or utilities sectors
