Based in New York, NY, this temp role offers a 12-month contract with potential for extension or full-time conversion. The position involves managing media relations, supporting executive and internal communications, and enhancing the organization’s reputation across the Americas and Europe.
Communication Specialist III Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement media relations strategies to elevate the organization’s visibility in key markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financial, business, and trade media outlets.
- Manage incoming media inquiries and craft timely, accurate responses.
- Support crisis communication and monitor their impact on reputation.
- Assist senior leaders with preparing speeches, briefing documents, and media interviews.
Communication Specialist III Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.
- Demonstrated experience working with complex, regulated organizations.
- Established relationships with media in business, financial, and trade sectors.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
