SEO Content Editor

PCG is looking for a detail-oriented SEO Content Editor to serve as the final line of defense for our content quality. You will bridge the gap between content creation and technical SEO, ensuring every piece of content we produce is polished, formatted for readability, and optimized to rank. In this position, you will be required to maintain effective grammar and formatting while accelerating our production pipeline by providing hands-on writing and optimization support to our SEO team.
Position Responsibilities:

Review and edit content for grammar, punctuation, and style
Ensure all content adhered to the client brand voice.
Implement keyword strategies naturally within the copy and optimize content for local/geo-targeted audiences.
Review content formatting (H1s, H2s, bullet points, and metadata) to ensure it meets both user experience and search engine requirements.
Foster positive relationships with clients to keep content on brand
Complete work under strict deadlines
Position Requirements:

Strong mastery of grammar, style, brand voice, and consistency.
Solid foundation in formatting, headers, and on-page best practices.
Proficient in keyword research, geo-targeting, and optimization techniques.
Exceptional ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time.
Proven success working quickly in fast-paced environments.
Acute attention to detail with an efficient workflow.
Ability to work effectively within a diverse, team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have:

Background in professional writing, editing, or SEO (digital marketing preferred).
Familiarity with HTML and WordPress or other CMS/WYSIWYG editors.
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
A self-starter who enjoys brainstorming and contributing to strategy.
An interest in evolving digital marketing trends.
