THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for an exceptional Junior Video Editor & Podcast Producer based in New York City to take full ownership of video content and podcast operations for two growing efforts at Cosign: our brand and corporate content, and The Unordinarys, our founder-led business podcast hosted by our CEO.
This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for a podcast operator with strong creative content instincts. You will film content directly at our NYC office, own the podcast from end to end, proactively pitch viral moments, leverage cutting-edge AI tools to maximize reach, and craft ultra-smooth, international-looking corporate content aligned with global trends.
You'll own the content calendar and work directly with our Head of Content and the wider marketing team to keep production running on schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Filming & Production
- Set up and operate studio equipment for podcast tapings and brand shoots: cameras, multi-cam switching, lighting, and audio capture.
- Film in-office interviews, testimonials, B-roll, and social content, managing the shoot from setup through wrap.
- Maintain and troubleshoot studio gear, and keep an organized shot/asset library.
- Own the content calendar: schedule shoots, coordinate guests and internal stakeholders, and keep production on track.
Podcast Operations & Growth
- End-to-End Podcast Ownership: Manage the full post-production lifecycle, ensuring seamless delivery across YouTube, Spotify, and social platforms.
- Content & Story Mining: Deeply review long-form conversations to identify, extract, and pitch the strongest hooks, compelling stories, and high-converting viral moments.
- Full Episode Editing: Edit full-length YouTube episodes with top-tier storytelling, sound design, custom graphics, and dynamic visual variety.
- Multi-Platform Repurposing: Produce high-performing trailers, highlights, and social clips optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
Corporate & International Brand Content
- Smooth, International Aesthetic: Craft sleek, highly polished B2B and brand content: customer testimonials, product explainers, partner stories that match global tech standards.
- Trend-Driven Social Content: Develop fast, modern UGC-style videos and brand pieces that react in real time to the latest trends across proptech, tech culture, and AI.
- High-Production Storytelling: Elevate product and founder stories using modern color grading, clean motion graphics, and sleek pacing.
AI Optimization & Content Scaling
- Actively utilize AI editing, transcription, reframing, and audio-enhancement tools to streamline workflows and maximize output without sacrificing quality.
- Continuously study modern viral styles (dynamic captions, high-retention pacing, meme-native cuts) and adapt them to Cosign's ecosystem.
- Proactively bring fresh ideas, strategic content formats, and editing references to the table rather than waiting for a creative brief.
ABOUT YOU
We do not want someone who is simply an editor waiting for footage and a brief.
We want a content-obsessed operator who naturally asks:
- What is the sharpest 30-second hook in this 60-minute podcast episode?
- Which AI tool can help me turn this single interview into 10 multi-platform assets in half the time?
- How can we make this corporate testimonial look like a high-end international commercial?
You should have strong creative opinions, move fast, leverage modern tech, and continuously raise the quality and reach of everything we publish.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Content Experience & Editing Expertise: Exceptional technical editing capabilities paired with a strong editorial eye for what drives engagement and viral reach.
- End-to-End Podcast Management: Proven track record managing, editing, and distributing long-form video podcasts on YouTube and Spotify.
- Filming & Studio Production: Hands-on experience operating cameras, lighting, and multi-cam audio/video setups for interviews or podcast tapings.
- AI Tool Mastery: Hands-on experience using AI-powered video, audio, and content optimization software.
- International Aesthetic: A proven ability to produce sleek, modern, global-standard corporate content.
- Viral Short-Form Mastery: Expertise in dynamic short-form video, including hooks, retention pacing, captioning styles, and meme culture.
- Speed & Autonomy: Obsessive attention to detail, fast execution speed, and the drive to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bonus: Experience working with startups, founders, tech, AI, real estate, or media brands.

WORKING AT COSIGN
This is an in-office position based in New York City, with 3–4 days per week on-site to run shoots, tapings, and events in person. Cosign is looking for someone who is comfortable operating with pace, accountability, and a high degree of ownership. The right person will be energized by the opportunity to build structure within a growing business and create a lasting impact on how its content and client-facing events come together.
