MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Job Description
MAIA is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, team player to serve as our Marketing & Communications Manager. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and communication initiatives that elevate the association’s brand, attract independent agents and insurance company professionals to MAIA events, and strengthen engagement with current and prospective members. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a keen eye for design and a passion for supporting organizational growth through effective marketing.

Benefits

Total compensation: $42,000 - $60,000; includes base salary of $42,000 - $55,000 plus potential for incentive bonuses

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for MAIA products and services, including conferences, education programs, insurance products, membership and other association benefits.

Design marketing and communication materials, such as brochures, flyers and other promotional pieces.

Compile and design association publications, ensuring high-quality content and consistent branding.

Write, design and distribute marketing emails that promote MAIA initiatives and drive engagement.

Maintain and update the MAIA website, ensuring all content is accurate, current and effectively promotes association activities and offerings.

Support MAIA’s social media presence by developing and publishing content that promotes association events, programs and member benefits.

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Must be proficient with Adobe Suite (particularly InDesign)

Experience with WordPress, photography, Photoshop, Constant Contact, Canva, ClickUp and QR codes a plus

Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple projects
