Studio Production Designer

Walrus is looking for a Studio Production Designer to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of design execution and production – perfect for someone who loves bringing creative to life across formats with precision, speed, and craft.
You'll work closely with our creative, production, and account teams to ensure design assets are built, resized, and delivered flawlessly across a wide range of channels.
You live for the details. The kerning. The alignment. The perfectly exported file that actually meets specs… and looks cute.
What you'll do:
Develop and design layouts and graphic elements for various platforms including social, digital, and OOH
Resize, revise, and adapt creative assets while adhering to client brand guidelines
Produce final mechanicals for production and ensure they meet technical requirements
Partner with creatives to maintain design integrity across executions
Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
One year minimum advertising/design agency experience
Adobe Creative Suite fluency (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong attention to detail—you catch the things others miss
Solid understanding of file setup, specs, and production best practices
Clear communicator, collaborative, and ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
In or around NYC
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree
Bonus Points:
Working knowledge of AI platforms (Midjourney, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude)
Experience with motion design and/or animation (After Effects, etc.)
