Graphic Designer Job at Snelling in Augusta

Summary:

We are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position will be responsible for working with customers from the initial order through completion of the job.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Create and edit artwork for labels, stickers, signs, decals, and other products
- Take customer orders and enter order information accurately
- Communicate with customers regarding artwork, specifications, quantities, pricing, and deadlines
- Prepare and send proofs to customers for approval
- Make revisions and obtain final customer approval
- Prepare artwork and files for production and printing
- Bill customers and process invoices
- Follow orders through completion and communicate with customers regarding order status
- Work closely with production to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain organized customer, order, and artwork files
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines

Software Experience:

- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Omega 6.5
- Canva
- Inkscape

Qualifications:

- Previous graphic design and/or print production experience
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience with Omega 6.5, Canva, and Inkscape preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable taking customer orders and working directly with customers
- Experience preparing proofs and production-ready artwork
- Basic billing and invoicing experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Experience with labels, signs, decals, printing, or manufacturing is a plus
