Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead the development of big, bold, breakthrough ideas for brand experiences and campaigns—the kind of work that people talk about. As a storyteller and world-builder at heart, you will translate strategic thinking into immersive, narrative-driven environments that connect brands with their audiences. You will own projects from the initial pitch to on-site execution, thinking simultaneously across 2D, 3D, digital, and physical spaces.

Whether we are building a massive consumer activation, an intimate high-net-worth hospitality program, or a buzzworthy pop-up for true fans, you will ensure the execution is as magical as the initial concept.

Core Responsibilities

Creative Vision & Storytelling

  • Concept & Ideate: Lead the development of innovative, award-winning experiential concepts that go beyond aesthetic wrappers to build comprehensive narrative frameworks.

  • World-Building: Leverage a deep passion for culture, theatrical craft, and "fandoms" to bring highly themed, immersive brand experiences to life.

  • Holistic Design: Simultaneously consider graphic identity, environmental design, scenic elements, hospitality, print, and digital content.

Execution & Delivery

  • End-to-End Ownership: Direct the full creative process from concept through execution—from initial 3D renders to on-site delivery—ensuring the promise made in the pitch room matches the physical reality on the ground.

  • Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, resources, and timelines in partnership with production and strategy leads to cast the right teams for each project.

  • Innovation: Stay at the forefront of industry trends. Act as a constant student of innovation, comfortably using industry-leading AI tools and new technologies to accelerate and enhance the creative process.

Leadership & Client Relations

  • Pitch & Present: Present creative ideas and campaigns with authority and conviction to senior client stakeholders, building the kind of trust where your creative recommendations carry genuine weight.

  • Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and coach a multidisciplinary team of 3D/environmental designers, and freelance talent.

  • Culture Champion: Provide constructive, direct feedback to ensure the highest quality of creative output while fiercely protecting and cultivating an inclusive, low-ego, high-performing agency culture.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8–10+ years of agency-side experience in experiential marketing, brand experience, or live events.

  • Leadership: At least 3+ years of experience directly managing and mentoring designers.

  • Portfolio: A standout portfolio filled with award-winning, press-getting work that demonstrates genuine creative range and narrative-led experiential environments.

  • Technical & Creative Fluency:

  • Spatial & Build Knowledge: Deep understanding of spatial design, physical activations, and real-world buildability. You map consumer journeys as fluently as brand narrative and messaging.

  • Software & Tooling Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) alongside a practical understanding of 3D environmental design workflows.

  • AI & Generative Workflows: Working knowledge of modern AI image generation and rendering tools to rapidly explore concepts and elevate visual outputs.

  • Pitch & Visual Storytelling: Exceptional skill in crafting immersive mood boards, visual treatments, and top-tier presentation decks that clearly pitch and sell complex experiential concepts to client stakeholders.

  • Strategic Partnership: Proven experience partnering closely with strategists to translate messaging frameworks into cohesive physical experience architectures.

  • Attitude: You are confident, passionate, and have a distinct point of view, but you leave your ego at the door—you know that the best experiential work takes village-level teamwork.
