Marketing & Content Assistant – Job Description Position Summary:
Responsible for turning company programming into engaging digital content that attracts viewers, promotes shows, and gives guests easy-to-share promotional materials. This role is ideal for someone creative, social media savvy, and comfortable producing content designed to capture attention quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
Create eye-catching thumbnails for shows, videos, and other digital content.
Write compelling, click-worthy show titles using strong hooks that accurately reflect the content.
Identify engaging moments from programming and edit them into short form clips for social media.
Create shorts, reels, and other promotional video content for platforms such as YouTube and social media.
Send guests their show clips and related promotional materials.
Help promote programming in a way that increases engagement, views, and audience interest.
Assist with additional marketing, social media, and content-related projects as assigned.
Maintain consistent branding and quality across digital content.
Requirements:
Creative with a strong eye for design, layout, and attention-grabbing content.
Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging titles and captions.
Familiarity with social media platforms and what encourages viewers to stop scrolling and watch.
Hands‑on experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar editing/design programs .
Understanding of YouTube and social media algorithms is strongly preferred.
Ability to independently create thumbnails, edit shorts/reels, and develop engaging titles.
Portfolio or examples of previous content creation work preferred.
Open to recent graduates or college students whose schedules allow for full‑time, on‑site work .
Extensive professional experience is not required if the candidate can demonstrate strong creative skills and examples of their work.
Schedule & Pay:
Full‑time, on‑site position
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Pay may depend on experience, skill level, and demonstrated portfolio
