Editor for Comics and Graphic Novels

Seeking a highly motivated Editor for Comics and Graphic Novels to join the team remotely, the full-time position will manage the creative process, oversee project development, and acquire new titles while collaborating closely with talent and key partners.
Key responsibilities:

Acquire and develop new projects while contributing to the commercial creative execution of the BOOM! Studios List
Serve as the project manager for scheduling, communication, and creative development for all titles under purview
Negotiate contracts, identify and contract new talent, and support the Executive Editor's office with scheduling and talent relations

Required qualifications:

A minimum of five years' experience in comic book and graphic novel editing
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating a strategic and critical thinking approach
Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills
