Seeking a motivated Editor for Comic Books to join the team on a full-time remote basis, responsible for acquiring new projects, managing creative development, and ensuring the commercial success of various titles while collaborating with talent and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
Acquire and develop new projects while overseeing the creative execution of the BOOM! Studios List
Act as the primary project manager for scheduling, communication, and production across titles
Support the Executive Editor's office with scheduling, talent relations, and internal tracking
Required qualifications
Minimum of five years' experience in comic book and graphic novel editing
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines and taking initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; expertise in Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market conditions and trends
