About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Web Designer to lead the visual design of client-facing web applications and marketing sites. You will create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and design systems that balance aesthetics with usability. This role is for someone who understands that good design drives conversions, not just compliments.
Responsibilities
- Design responsive web application interfaces and marketing sites for SMB clients
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma or similar tools
- Build and maintain component libraries and design systems for consistent delivery
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Conduct design reviews and iterate based on client feedback and user testing
- Establish visual direction for new client projects based on brand guidelines and business goals
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional web design experience with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and web typography
- Experience designing for conversion: landing pages, forms, CTAs, and user flows
- Ability to present and defend design decisions to clients and stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or utility-first design frameworks
- Familiarity with React component architecture and design-to-code handoff
- Background designing CRMs, dashboards, or internal business tools
- Experience working in a small agency or consultancy setting
- Understanding of SEO and performance implications of design choices
