Detail-oriented and highly motivated, the fully remote Assistant Video Editor will support the post-production team by organizing raw footage, creating rough cuts, and assisting with editing short-form advertisements for various social media platforms.
Key responsibilities
Organize and manage raw footage, audio files, and production assets while collaborating with the post-production team
Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts and creative briefs, implementing revisions as needed
Perform quality checks and ensure final video deliverables meet technical specifications and brand guidelines
Required qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in video editing, post-production, or a related field
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus
Familiarity with short-form video formats for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and file management abilities
Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of handling professional video editing software
