Job Summary The ideal Graphic Designer candidate will have experience in both print and electronic media. Responsibilities Responsible for graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion, and delivery.
Collaborates with developers to create and refine web-based customer tools and interactive mockups.
Conceptualizes and produces graphics for all types of print and digital marketing, including product packaging, catalogs, and flyers.
Presents design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approval.
Works closely and collaboratively with the Marketing team on all creative projects, following the company’s brand guidelines.
Works closely with Marketing Project Manager to keep all projects on track, utilizing project management software to monitor project progress/completion/concerns.
Interprets company design needs and develops concepts to suit specific guidelines while working within budget constraints.
Attention to detail demonstrated by closely reviewing and using design checklists.
Illustrates concepts and obtains approval by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.

Advanced understanding of print design best practices: utilizing a grid-system for layout, typography, design hierarchy, designing with gutters, bleed, and margins.
Experience designing all types of print collateral and product packaging.
Experience with Keyshot and JIRA a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Creative Development

Design artwork for game packaging, instruction manuals, game boards, point-of-purchase displays, trade show graphics, and other marketing materials.
Research trends and develop creative packaging and product designs that appeal to target consumers.
Create and modify packaging dielines using templates or custom specifications.
Develop layouts with strong typography, composition, and attention to brand consistency.
Stay current on trends in packaging, toys, games, entertainment, and pop culture to inspire innovative design solutions.
Production & Artwork Management

Prepare production-ready artwork by ensuring layouts are accurate, complete, and error-free before release to manufacturing.
Verify all artwork includes correct imagery, product descriptions, logos, legal copy, and other required elements.
Preflight, package, and organize artwork files for factory production.
Maintain organized file structures and version control throughout the design process.
Assist with photo editing and artwork preparation as needed.
Collaboration & Project Management

Work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing shifting priorities and deadlines.
Collaborate with the Art Director, Project Managers, Brand Management, and other stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule.
Incorporate feedback and complete revisions efficiently while maintaining a high level of design quality.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving project requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience preferred.
5+ years of graphic design and production experience in an agency, studio, or in-house creative environment.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and print production.
Experience preparing production-ready files and prepress artwork.
Experience with consumer packaging design.
Dieline creation and editing experience preferred.
Experience working with licensed brands and style guides is a plus.
