Heartland Dental is seeking a Marketing Strategist to help build and run the marketing programs that keep patients engaged with the practices our supported doctors lead. Working alongside a Senior Marketing Strategist, you will execute campaigns that reduce missed appointments, bring patients back for the hygiene care they are due, and turn satisfied patients into referrals and reviews.
This is a builder's role. You will spend your time in campaign setup, testing and the data behind both, and you will grow into owning programs of your own. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, comfortable with ambiguity and energized by a fast-paced environment where the work changes as results come in.
Heartland Dental is the nation's largest dental support organization, providing non-clinical administrative support services to more than 3,100 supported doctors across 39 states and the District of Columbia in 1,900+ dental offices. Each Heartland Dental supported office is unique to the community and the patients they serve. Supported doctors are the clinical leaders of their practice, retain full clinical autonomy, and establish their own care philosophies. All Heartland Dental supported doctors are united by a common goal: delivering the highest quality dental care and patient experiences.
To give you an idea of the team structure, you will report to a Senior Marketing Manager on the Existing Patient Marketing team and work day to day with a Senior Marketing Strategist, regional marketing partners and marketing analytics.
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
Campaign Execution
Build, schedule and quality-check patient appointment reminder, re-care, referral and review campaigns across supported offices
Manage campaign calendars, audience segments and message versions so the right patients hear from their practice at the right time
Execute A/B tests designed with the Senior Marketing Strategist and document what each test proved
Troubleshoot campaign and platform issues, escalating quickly when an office-facing program is affected
Analysis and Reporting
Pull and organize campaign, practice and patient behavior data into clear recurring reports
Track program performance against established benchmarks and flag results that move off trend
Translate findings into recommendations the team can act on, and build the slides that carry them
Support the Marketing organization in evaluating and piloting new technology solutions
Collaboration
Partner with regional marketing and operations teams to support the activation of marketing strategies in supported offices
Coordinate with creative, analytics and vendor partners to keep campaigns on schedule
Maintain campaign documentation so programs can be handed off, repeated and scaled
Other projects as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, social sciences, or related field, plus a minimum of two (2) years of related marketing experience
Experience executing marketing campaigns from brief through launch and reporting
Comfort working with data, including the ability to interpret results and explain what they mean
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail and the organization to manage several campaigns with competing deadlines
Desirable Qualifications:
Healthcare or dental industry knowledge
Hands-on experience with a marketing automation, email or CRM platform
Experience with A/B testing and campaign measurement
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
