Assistant designer creative director

Join Autty Simone Clothing Brand in Davie, FL (onsite)

as an assistant designer creative director supporting the lead designer in building new women’s clothing designs and collections. This role blends creative development, research, and hands‑on collaboration through to fittings and sample updates. If you enjoy developing concepts from inspiration to production, you will have the chance to contribute across the full design workflow.

What you’ll do

Support the lead designer in developing new clothing designs and full collections.

Create mood boards, sketches, and design concepts to shape upcoming collection direction.

Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes to inform design decisions.

Assist with fabric sourcing, trims, and material selection.

Help prepare tech packs, design specifications, and production notes.

Work closely with seamstresses to bring designs to life.

Participate in fittings and assist with sample adjustments.

Organize fabric samples, design references, and other materials needed for collection development.

Collaborate on creative direction for upcoming collections and photoshoots.

Help ensure each design aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards.

What you bring

Strong passion for women’s fashion and design.

Creative eye with an understanding of current fashion trends.

Ability to sketch fashion designs by hand or digitally.

Basic knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fit.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced creative environment.

Fashion design students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Previous fashion design experience is preferred but not required.
