Position Summary

The Public Relations Assistant will help coordinate public-facing activities and ensure information is communicated accurately and professionally. This role provides an opportunity to develop practical experience in public relations, communications, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities

Assist with public relations and community outreach initiatives

Support promotional events and customer-facing activities

Help prepare informational materials and communications

Communicate with customers, community members, and event attendees

Assist with coordinating schedules, event details, and outreach activities

Collect feedback and summarize relevant observations for the team

Maintain organized records of outreach and promotional activities

Help ensure consistent and professional company messaging

Support event preparation and on-site activities

Collaborate with team members on public-facing projects

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in communications, public relations, or marketing is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional and approachable demeanor

Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Comfortable speaking with the public

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Previous experience in customer service, events, communications, or public relations is helpful but not required
