Direct Mail Copywriter

Job Title Job Description Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree or military experience Required Experience: At least 2 years of copywriting experience in a professional setting At least 2 years of Direct Mail experience Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) Ability to manage multiple deadlines across numerous projects and deliver error-free work Preferred Experience: Experience in one or more of the following marketing areas: B2C, Direct Response, Print and Direct Mail Experience in the financial services industry
Job Summary: Create compelling copy for a range of products within the Direct Mail Print channel, working with art directors, creative directors, brand and marketing strategists, and internal marketing and line-of-business partners. Use strategy and consumer insights to inform creative decisions and produce marketing that stands out while staying true to the brand.
Job Duties:
Write creative copy for a range of products within the Direct Mail Print channel
Brainstorm big concepts and complete detail-oriented projects, collaborating with art directors, creative directors, and brand and marketing strategists
Partner with internal marketing teams and line-of-business partners
Use strategy and consumer insights to inform creative decisions
Apply integrated thinking across channels, products, and audiences while staying true to the brand
Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects at the same time and deliver error-free work
Listen to and incorporate feedback, and decide when to use existing solutions or start from scratch
Understand project goals, take direction well, and ask questions when clarity is needed
Present work in a compelling way to build support across different audiences
