The American Alpine Journal is seeking a Senior Editor on a remote, part-time contract to support the Editor-in-Chief in planning, editing, and producing the 2027 edition, as well as associated channels.
Ideal candidates have extensive climbing knowledge and a track record in climbing journalism, with strong editing, fact-checking, and layout skills, and a passion for alpinism and mountain exploration.
