Associate Video Producer (Fully Remote)

Produce and independently edit video stories with The Athletic's reporters on weekend evenings.
Work across highlights, social video, and logging footage into the archive system.
100% remote part-time contract through 12/31/2026.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with producers and editors to build engaging stories from reporters.
Follow style guide and train reporters on phone filming best practices.
Edit footage into compelling narratives.
Requirements:
Experience editing news, vertical, and social video in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Genuine sports interest and journalism
ewsroom background.
Ability to work independently, in teams, and on nights/weekends.
