Videographer (Event coverage)

Seeking an experienced freelance videographer to provide on-site coverage for a two-day conference event in Austin, Texas. This person will capture polished footage for future marketing, promotional content, and sizzle reels.
Assignment Overview Schedule: October 21st and 22nd
Location: One conference venue in Austin, Texas
Engagement: W2 Contract
Rate : $70-80/hr
Must have a DSLR camera, lighting, mic
Responsibilities Capture high-quality B-roll throughout the conference, including event activity, attendees, speakers, and environment.
Film brief, one-on-one attendee testimonials using a single-camera setup.
Follow the client’s shot list and collaborate with the on-site event contact and marketing team.
Produce footage aligned with a professional, marketing-focused visual style for promotional packages and sizzle reels.
Work independently on-site while responding to event needs and direction from the client team.
Qualifications Demonstrated experience filming conferences, corporate events, interviews, and B-roll.
Access to professional-quality camera equipment; DSLR or comparable equipment is acceptable.
Strong understanding of composition, lighting, event coverage, and interview-style video capture.
Ability to deliver polished footage that meets a professional promotional and marketing standard.
Portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant event and interview work is required.
