Web Designer Job at Yardi Systems in Brooklyn

We're looking for a talented Web Designer to createengaging, user-focused experiences across our web-based applications, publicportals, and marketing websites. In this role, you'll be responsible for visualdesign, information architecture, and user interface design, transformingcomplex concepts into intuitive and visually compelling digital experiences.
What You’ll Do:

Ensure front-end code is responsive and implemented with amobile-first approach
Leverage the existing frameworks and technology
Design websites that are easy to access and visuallyeffective
Create wireframes, rapid prototypes, and comps to showimportant interactions, functionality, user interfaces, and mock-up designs
Design for maximum usability with a focus on user experience
Provide design advice on projects and make recommendationsfor improving websites
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends andcompetitor products
Coordinate closely with Client Services and MarketingSpecialists to support clients
Fulfill multiple project requests while simultaneouslymeeting tight production deadlines
Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in web design and development, UI design,or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with user interface and user experience (UI/UX)design
Online portfolio of design samples
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency in Figma
Solid knowledge of web technologies and applications
Knowledge of Bootstrap front-end framework
Understanding of accessibility requirements
Strong knowledge of responsive and mobile design
Familiarity with iOS and Android application design
Familiarity with backend/CMS applications
Verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
Ability to learn new technologies and integrate them intothe environment and practices
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively aspart of a team
Ability to work at assigned office location
Ability to attend meetings and perform tasks for longperiods on a computer and on the telephone
Regular attendance and a regular work schedule are essentialfunctions of this job

Annual Salary Range: $78,000 - $86,400
