Videographer Editor Job at Avatardesk in Houston

We are looking for a creative, experienced, and reliable Full-Time Videographer/editor to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of urgency and takes ownership of projects from concept to final delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

Create engaging Reels and short-form videos from original raw footage

Create fully AI-generated videos using AI tools and platforms

Edit videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms

Add captions, transitions, music, graphics, visual effect overlays, and other effects as needed

Follow brand guidelines and creative direction

Manage multiple video projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

See projects through from concept to delivery, incorporating feedback and ensuring timely completion

Requirements:

Previous professional experience in video editing, particularly Reels and short-form social media content

Having your own camera is preferred

Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools

Experience using AI video generation and AI editing tools

Experience creating and applying visual effect overlays

Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and current social media trends

Strong sense of urgency, time management, and commitment to completing projects

Creative, organized, and able to work independently

Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of video editing
