About the role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Front End Developer to help build, enhance, and maintain mobile applications that are reliable, accessible, responsive, and easy to use. In this role, you’ll translate product requirements and designs into high-quality mobile experiences, develop reusable components, integrate APIs and services, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with product, design, engineering, quality assurance, and other internal teams. You’ll contribute to application performance, usability, maintainability, release readiness, and a consistent user experience across supported devices and platforms.
What you’ll do
Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end features for mobile applications based on product requirements, technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Translate user interface designs, prototypes, and workflows into accessible, responsive, and maintainable mobile experiences
Build reusable components, screens, navigation flows, forms, and other front-end functionality using approved frameworks, libraries, and development standards
Integrate mobile applications with APIs, backend services, authentication systems, databases, analytics platforms, and other application services
Write clear, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code that follows established architecture, coding, security, and performance practices
Optimize application performance, responsiveness, startup time, memory usage, network behavior, battery consumption, and overall user experience
Ensure mobile interfaces work consistently across supported devices, screen sizes, operating systems, orientations, and network conditions
Implement accessibility considerations, including semantic interfaces, keyboard or assistive technology support, readable content, appropriate contrast, and inclusive interaction patterns
Identify, investigate, reproduce, document, and resolve application defects, technical issues, usability problems, and production incidents
Write and maintain unit, component, integration, end-to-end, and other applicable automated tests for front-end functionality
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback related to functionality, quality, maintainability, security, performance, and user experience
Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, quality assurance professionals, analysts, operations, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Participate in refinement sessions, sprint planning, daily coordination, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, and other project meetings
Use version control, build systems, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, debugging tools, monitoring tools, and release platforms to support development and deployment
Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, architecture decisions, release notes, support materials, and team knowledge sharing
Recommend improvements to mobile development practices, application architecture, developer workflows, testing strategies, and engineering processes

You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, backend engineering, quality assurance, operations, customer support, and other internal teams. The role combines front-end development, user interface implementation, API integration, testing, debugging, code review, technical communication, and continuous improvement. Qualifications
Experience developing front-end features for mobile applications, responsive applications, or comparable digital products
Experience with a mobile development framework or technology stack such as React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, Android, iOS, or another relevant platform
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, Dart, or another relevant front-end programming language
Experience implementing user interfaces from designs, prototypes, component libraries, or other product specifications
Experience integrating REST APIs, GraphQL services, authentication flows, asynchronous data, and third-party services
Understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, navigation, local storage, error handling, and application lifecycle behavior
Experience writing or maintaining unit, component, integration, end-to-end, or other automated front-end tests
Working knowledge of Git or another version control system, code review practices, debugging tools, and development workflows
Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, usability, cross-device compatibility, and mobile performance optimization
Ability to troubleshoot defects, analyze application behavior, and communicate technical findings clearly
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery, mobile build processes, application distribution, monitoring, or release management is helpful
Experience with analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, offline functionality, or secure mobile development is helpful depending on the application environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with product, design, engineering, quality assurance, and other cross-functional teams in a changing environment
