About Advanced Aircrew Academy At Advanced Aircrew Academy, we help flight departments elevate safety, exceed standards, and stay mission-ready. Through modern training, we empower tens of thousands of aviation professionals to operate with compliance, simplicity, and scalability.
About the Role The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading and executing Advanced Aircrew Academy’s overall marketing strategy, building programs that strengthen our brand, engage customers, generate new business opportunities, and contribute to sustainable growth.
We are looking for a well-rounded, hands-on marketing leader who can think strategically while also driving execution. This person will oversee marketing across the full customer journey, from building awareness and generating demand to supporting sales, bringing new courses and platform capabilities to market, and engaging existing customers.
The Director of Marketing will lead integrated marketing across demand generation, customer and product marketing, content, events, digital, and sales enablement. You will also help shape our messaging and positioning, ensuring Advanced Aircrew Academy’s value is communicated clearly and consistently across the market.
As a member of the leadership team, you will partner closely with the CEO and teams across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to align marketing priorities with broader business objectives, identify growth opportunities, measure performance, and continuously improve how marketing supports the business.
This is an opportunity to build and scale the marketing function for an established, market-leading company entering its next stage of growth in a specialized aviation market. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats, moving between strategy and execution, and building a modern marketing function that supports both our customers and continued growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership. Own and execute the overall marketing strategy and budget, aligning priorities with company growth objectives, customer needs, and broader business priorities. Establish the plans, processes, systems, and measurement needed to drive consistent execution and scale the marketing function.
Demand Generation & Integrated Campaigns. Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that build awareness, generate qualified opportunities, and contribute directly to pipeline and revenue growth.
Customer & Product Marketing. Develop marketing programs that strengthen customer engagement, retention, and growth while supporting the successful launch and adoption of new courses, platform capabilities, and offerings. Translate customer needs and product developments into clear positioning, messaging, and communications throughout the customer lifecycle.
Content, Digital & Brand. Own the company’s content and digital presence across the website, social media, email, thought leadership, case studies, customer stories, and other marketing channels. Build a consistent content strategy that increases awareness, educates the market, supports sales, and strengthens the Advanced Aircrew Academy brand.
Events & Market Engagement. Lead Advanced Aircrew Academy’s presence at industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, webinars, and other online and in-person experiences. Own strategy, promotion, execution, and follow-up to maximize engagement, generate opportunities, and support customer relationships.
Sales & Customer Success Enablement. Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to develop the messaging, content, campaigns, resources, and collateral they need to effectively engage prospects and customers throughout the customer journey.
What You Will Bring
7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience in high-growth or scaling companies, with a demonstrated track record of contributing directly to significant revenue growth and building marketing capabilities as the business scaled.
Demonstrated experience building and scaling a marketing function or growth engine, ideally as an early or foundational marketing leader responsible for establishing the strategy, systems, processes, channels, and team required for the next stage of growth.
Proven success driving measurable business outcomes through marketing, including qualified pipeline, new revenue, customer engagement, retention, and expansion.
Experience building repeatable demand generation and go-to-market systems, including campaign strategy, account-based marketing, defined Ideal Customer Profiles, marketing automation, and close alignment with Sales.
Strong content and messaging capabilities, with experience translating customer needs, product capabilities, and market insights into compelling campaigns, thought leadership, customer stories, sales collateral, and digital content.
Experience using events, webinars, and industry engagement as growth channels, with responsibility for strategy, execution, follow-up, and measurable business impact.
Strong analytical and operational capabilities, including defining KPIs, measuring marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue, managing budgets, and continuously improving marketing investments based on performance.
AI-native mindset, with demonstrated ability to use AI tools to increase the speed, quality, and scalability of marketing work across research, content development, campaign execution, analysis, and workflow automation.
A hands-on, adaptable approach, with the ability to move between strategy and execution, operate independently in a remote, high-accountability environment, and prioritize effectively in a fast-moving business.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA a plus. Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM and marketing automation platform is preferred.
