Role Description This Social Media Marketing Manager role is a hybrid position based in Tucson, AZ, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Social Media Marketing Manager will plan, create, and publish engaging content across several social platforms to increase brand awareness and build trust with pet owners. Daily responsibilities include managing social media calendars, writing posts, sourcing images or videos, and responding to comments and messages in a professional, empathetic manner. The role also involves monitoring analytics, optimizing campaigns, and collaborating with leadership to align social media activities with overall marketing goals and customer service values.

Qualifications

Demonstrated skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to manage and grow multiple platforms.
Ability to develop and implement effective Content Strategy tailored to pet owners and animal transport services.
Strong Communication skills, including clear written messaging and professional online interaction with clients and followers.
Experience with Digital Marketing techniques, including basic analytics review and campaign optimization.
Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle part-time, hybrid work responsibilities.
Comfort working with a small business and interest in pet care, animal welfare, or travel services is highly beneficial.
Prior experience in social media management or marketing for service-based businesses is preferred but not required.
Weekly/monthly reports required to show progress and ways to improve
