Are you a passionate storyteller looking to grow your career in a supportive, hands-on newsroom? WXXV-TV is seeking a full-time Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) to join our news team on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast.

What You'll Do

Develop and pitch compelling local news stories
Shoot, write, edit, and present stories for television, digital, and social platforms
Conduct engaging live reports from the field
Build sources and maintain strong community relationships
Cover breaking news, severe weather, and major community events
Create content that informs, engages, and impacts our viewers
What We're Looking For

Strong storytelling, writing, and reporting skills
Ability to shoot and edit video independently
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Experience with social media and digital news platforms
Ability to work under deadline pressure in a fast-paced newsroom
A valid driver's license and good driving record
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
Experience with ENPS newsroom computer systems is preferred, but not required
Experience with non-linear editing systems is preferred. Knowledge of Edius is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate.
A good driving record is a must. We utilize DMV and criminal background checks as a condition of employment.
