Photographer / Videographer Job at C & C JEWELRY MFG., INC in Los Angeles

Steel Nation and Robert Alton are building out our in-house creative capabilities, and we're looking for a Photographer / Videographer to own day-to-day product, lifestyle, and social content across both brands.

We're men's jewelry and lifestyle brands looking for someone with a strong visual eye and a fast, reliable workflow. The primary focus is consistent, high-volume product and social content, with opportunities to support larger campaign and lifestyle shoots as needed.

We're open to early-career creatives with strong, demonstrable work - not necessarily years of professional experience, but a portfolio that shows a genuine eye, creative instinct, and consistent quality.

You'll have access to our dedicated in-house DTLA studio and professional lighting equipment; candidates should have their own camera body and lenses to start.

What You'll Do

Shoot product and styled jewelry photography, including hero, detail, and macro shots

Shoot lifestyle and social content for both brands

Capture and edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other digital channels, delivering platform-ready content from shoot through final edit

Deliver and organize edited selects plus RAW / unedited files for internal use

Work from mood boards, references, brand guidelines, and creative direction

Contribute ideas for compositions, styling, locations, shot lists, and social content

Support larger campaign and lifestyle shoots as needed

Collaborate closely with the marketing and creative team on product launches and ongoing content needs

What We're Looking For

A strong portfolio demonstrating work in product, lifestyle, fashion, jewelry, or social content; personal and student projects are welcome if the quality and creative point of view are there

Strong instincts for styling, lighting, composition, and visual storytelling

Comfortable shooting both still photography and short-form video

Strong editing capabilities for Reels, TikTok, and other social-first video

Familiarity with Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar tools

Own a camera body and lenses suitable for professional photo/video work to start; in-house studio, lighting, modifiers, stands, and related production equipment are provided

Reliable turnaround, file organization, and communication

Genuine interest in fashion, jewelry, lifestyle, and digital culture

How We'll Evaluate
Portfolio first. We're looking for a genuine visual point of view, consistent quality, and the ability to produce strong content at a steady pace - not necessarily years of commercial experience.

As part of the interview process, selected candidates may be invited to complete a creative assessment, for which a stipend will be provided.
