Are you a product marketing leader who wants to set the global direction for a market-leading point-of-care platform as it moves into its next generation?
We are exclusively partnering with a global diagnostics leader to appoint a Senior Global Marketing Manager – Point of Care Instruments & Software.
The Organisation:
Our client is well established in diagnostics, with a portfolio sold in 100+ countries. Its point-of-care business is a global leader in rapid blood analysis, and hospitals worldwide rely on its platforms in critical care settings. The business is now in an active transition from legacy platforms to next-generation solutions, with connectivity, data and software becoming central to how customers get value from it.
The Mandate: Platform Migration, Value Proposition & Software Roadmap
This role sets strategy and drives its delivery. You will work with R&D, Medical Affairs, Regional Marketing and fellow product managers to shape where the portfolio goes next and how customers make the move:
- Global Instrument Strategy & Migration: Define and lead strategy across legacy and next-gen platforms, with clear pathways to accelerate customer conversion.
- Differentiated Value Proposition: Build a clinical, operational and economic case for the full portfolio across instruments, assays and services that stands up against competitors.
- Connectivity & Software Roadmap: Own the roadmap for workflow optimisation, data integration, analytics and AI, and find where software creates real customer and commercial value.
- Business Cases & Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead the business case for innovation during the annual strategic planning cycle and get R&D, Medical Affairs and regional leadership aligned behind it.
- Market Insight & Regional Enablement: Run targeted market research to sharpen differentiation, and give regional teams the messaging, tools and frameworks to win on value.
Who You Are:
- A global product or portfolio marketing leader with 7+ years in diagnostics, medtech or a closely related field.
- Proven in product launches and commercialisation, with outcomes you can point to.
- Experienced with software-enabled or SaaS business models (2+ years), and comfortable building the value story around connectivity and data.
- An influential operator in a matrix who can align technical, medical and commercial stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong in project management and analysis, and confident turning market insight into strategy and strategy into execution.
- Degree in business or life sciences. A master's is preferred.
