Social Media Team

FAYTH Foundation is looking for a team of creative and dependable volunteers to help establish, organize, and maintain our social media presence. As members of our Social Media Team, volunteers will play an important role in telling our story, engaging our community, recruiting volunteers, and inspiring supporters to join our mission of addressing food insecurity across Metro Atlanta.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in marketing, communications, photography, graphic design, content creation, or nonprofit outreach who want to use their talents to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
Work together to organize and optimize FAYTH Foundation's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms as needed)
Create and schedule engaging content that reflects our mission, programs, and community impact
Design graphics, write captions, and develop stories and short videos using tools such as Canva or similar platforms
Promote volunteer opportunities, food distributions, donation drives, partnerships, and special events
Capture photos and videos at community events and during daily operations (when available) to help tell the story of FAYTH Foundation
Monitor comments and messages on social media platforms and notify leadership of questions or opportunities for engagement
Collaborate to develop fresh ideas and campaigns that increase awareness, community engagement, and volunteer recruitment
Help maintain consistent branding and messaging across all social media platforms
Qualifications
Interest in social media, marketing, communications, photography, graphic design, or nonprofit work
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience with Canva or other design tools is helpful but not required
Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
Creative, dependable, collaborative, and willing to learn
Time Commitment
Approximately 2–5 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Most work can be completed remotely, with optional opportunities to attend community events to create content and support outreach efforts.
