VP Commercial Excellence | Global Industrial Manufacturer | Succession Planning
The TRG Growth Practice has partnered with a global, industry-leading manufacturer of engineered industrial solutions to identify a Vice President of Commercial Excellence & Strategy to help lead the organization’s next phase of growth.
Reporting directly to the EVP of Global Sales , this highly visible executive will connect product strategy, market opportunity, and sales execution to accelerate product adoption, increase market penetration, and strengthen commercial performance globally.
What You’ll Own
- Develop and execute enterprise commercial growth and product penetration strategies .
- Lead go-to-market and commercialization initiatives for strategic products and solutions.
- Partner with global sales leadership to increase market share, product mix, and customer penetration .
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of commercial and industry experts.
- Strengthen capabilities around consultative selling, value-based selling, and commercial excellence .
- Translate customer insights and market trends into future product, innovation, and growth strategies .
- Partner across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Business Unit leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive leadership across commercial strategy, sales, product commercialization, or business development .
- Experience within industrial manufacturing, engineered products, building products, automation, material handling, or industrial distribution .
- Track record of driving revenue growth, product adoption, market penetration, and commercial transformation .
- Strong executive presence with experience influencing complex, global organizations.
- Ability to travel approximately 50%.
