Own the editorial calendar across newsletter, social, website, and email Pitch and manage earned media; prepare spokespeople and maintain the press list Apply and enforce nonpartisan language guardrails on all public content, including partner and volunteer materials Run the consent process for community storytelling: written releases, right to review, right to withdraw Maintain brand, voice, and accessibility standards, including translation for the languages your community speaks Produce the annual report and campaign materials with program and development input Manage crisis and rapid-response communications, with a clear escalation path to the ED Track reach and engagement metrics tied to program goals, not vanity numbers
