Studio Aide

The Lawrence Arts Center is seeking Studio Aides to support youth visual arts classes, workshops, and studio programs. Studio Aides help create safe, welcoming, and well-organized studio environments where students and instructors can focus on making and learning. Aides may support instructors and students with studio setup and cleanup, materials and equipment, classroom organization, and general studio needs. Responsibilities will vary depending on the class and studio.

Studio Aides should be comfortable working with art materials and equipment, following safety procedures, communicating professionally with instructors and students, and helping maintain clean and functional studio spaces. Previous experience in an arts, education, or studio environment is helpful but not required. Previous experience working with Elementary and Middle School age students is recommended.

This is a part-time, contract position within the Visual Arts Education department. Compensation is $11/hour. Hours and schedules vary based on class and studio needs.
