TIKTOK CONTENT CREATOR (PART-TIME)
ASTA RESORT is hiring a creative, camera-confident and self-starting content creator to join our team as TikTok Content Creator.
This is a part-time role, three days a week, based at our New York HQ. You’ll sit within the marketing team, reporting to the Brand Marketing Director and working closely with our sister co-founders. You’ll be the face and the hands behind @astaresort on TikTok, turning hand-beading, crochet, our boutiques and the people behind the brand into short-form stories that feel true to ASTA.
You’ll own ASTA’s TikTok from idea to insight. Your job is to build it into an authentic yet on-brand channel that shows how our pieces are made and where they’re worn.
The main areas you’ll own:
- Ideation: Bringing a steady flow of original TikTok concepts across the making, the founders, the brand world, the pieces and the community, and shaping them into a weekly plan with the marketing team.
- On-camera presence: Appearing in front of the camera as a natural, warm voice for the brand. That covers presenting pieces, telling craft stories, hosting boutique moments and bringing our community into the frame.
- Filming & production: Shooting content end to end, setting up lighting, capturing clean sound and framing each shot so it feels warm, golden and unmistakably ASTA.
- Editing & publishing: Batch-editing your footage into fast, native TikToks with considered captions, text overlays and sound choices, then publishing on a consistent rhythm.
- Founder & team content: Partnering with the sister-founders on founder-led content, and directing boutique crews, Insiders and guests so they look and sound their best on camera.
- Community management: Replying to comments and DMs in the ASTA voice, building real conversation with our audience, and passing customer questions or feedback to the right team.
- Monthly reporting: Tracking views, watch time, saves, shares, follower growth and traffic to site and boutiques. Each month you’ll share a short report with the Brand Marketing Director on what worked, what didn’t and what’s next.
Skills you’ll have:
Experience: 1–3 years creating short-form video for a fashion, beauty or lifestyle brand, or a strong personal or freelance TikTok with a portfolio to show for it.
On-camera confidence: You’re at ease in front of the camera and speak with warmth and personality without it ever feeling forced or scripted.
Technical know-how: You’re skilled with lighting setups (natural light, ring lights, softboxes), lavalier and on-camera mics, and shooting on iPhone and mirrorless cameras. You’re fluent in CapCut and TikTok’s native editor.
Creative eye: You have a strong sense of composition, colour and mood, and you know how to make content feel authentic and craft-forward while still looking beautiful.
Platform fluency: You have a current, instinctive understanding of TikTok, including hooks, pacing, sounds, formats and TikTok Analytics, and you can turn the numbers into clear, simple insights.
Communication & organisation: You take feedback well, write in a warm and polished voice, work easily with the marketing and boutique teams, and make the most of your three days so ideas get filmed, edited and posted on time.
