We are looking for a

creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Product Videographer & Video Editor

to join our marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for college students studying film production, videography, digital media, or related fields who want to gain hands-on experience producing professional product videos.

Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for filming, editing, and producing high-quality, short-form product videos showcasing Rocstor's technology products.

Most videos will be approximately

1-3 minutes long

and will highlight product features, specifications, functionality, and benefits.

The ideal candidate should have experience with video production, camera operation, professional lighting techniques, and video editing software.

Key Responsibilities

Product Videography:

Film professional 1-3 minute product demonstration and promotional videos.

Lighting & Camera Setup:

Set up and control lighting, camera angles, exposure, and composition to produce clear, high-quality product footage.

Video Editing:

Edit recorded footage into polished, professional videos suitable for Rocstor's website, YouTube channel, and marketing materials.

Product Descriptions & Graphics:

Add product names, descriptions, key features, specifications, text overlays, and graphics to videos.

Product Demonstrations:

Capture detailed close-ups, multiple angles, and demonstrations highlighting product features and functionality.

Audio & Visual Quality:

Ensure consistent lighting, image quality, transitions, and audio throughout each video.

Video Formatting:

Export completed videos in appropriate formats and resolutions for websites, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

Collaboration:

Work with Rocstor's marketing and product teams to understand product features and create accurate, informative videos.

Qualifications & Requirements
Required Skills:

Experience filming and editing videos.

Proficiency in operating DSLR, mirrorless, or professional video cameras.

Strong understanding of lighting techniques, including positioning, brightness, shadows, and reflections.

Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.

Ability to add text overlays, product descriptions, titles, and graphics to videos.

Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual presentation.

Ability to work independently and complete assigned video projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current college or university student pursuing Film Production, Videography, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.

Experience creating product videos, promotional videos, or technology-related content.

Familiarity with product photography and studio lighting.

Experience creating videos for YouTube, websites, or social media.

Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or similar graphic design software.

A college degree is not required.

Students with demonstrated videography and editing skills are encouraged to apply.

Hourly Pay:

$20.00-25.00, Depending on Qualifications and Experience.
