Description
We're looking for a bold, creative, and hands-on Director of Marketing to shape and elevate our brand across every touchpoint: partnerships, content, campaigns, and culture. This is the person who turns strategy into action, builds partnerships that actually move the needle, and makes sure our story gets told everywhere it matters.
This is not a "manage from a distance" role. We need someone who can zoom out to think strategically and zoom back in to execute fast, someone equally comfortable pitching a partnership deck to leadership and jumping in to shoot content on-site the same afternoon. This person must be genuinely fluent across the full marketing toolkit: web design, digital marketing, PR, print, direct mail, social, and analytics and comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute in any of them, not just direct others to. If you thrive in the trenches and at the whiteboard, this is your role.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Marketing
Build and manage strategic relationships with high-value partners
Collaborate cross-functionally to launch co-branded campaigns and shared media opportunities that create real impact
Track performance relentlessly optimize every partnership for engagement and ROI, not just visibility
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Lead bold, multi-channel campaigns across digital, print, direct mail, and experiential platforms
Own brand consistency and storytelling everywhere our name shows up: corporate, community, and beyond
Leverage analytics to guide decisions, prove impact, and continuously sharpen what's working across every channel
Partner closely with community and regional teams to keep every initiative aligned and firing in the same direction
Web, Digital & PR
Own our web presence from design input to content updates ensuring it reflects our brand and converts
Drive digital marketing efforts across paid, organic, and email channels
Lead public relations efforts, building relationships with media and managing our public narrative
Event Management: Annual Executive Director Summit
Own the planning, promotion, and flawless execution of our flagship annual event
Manage vendors, speakers, logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-through from start to finish
Create an experience that reflects our brand, energizes our leaders, and strengthens the culture that drives everything we do
Social Media Management
Drive strategy, calendar, and hands-on execution across every social channel
Lead content creation — including on-site photography and videography — with internal teams and outside contributors
Keep our brand voice sharp while continuously evolving our visual and narrative storytelling
Team Leadership & Training
Recruit, mentor, and develop marketing interns into real contributors
Onboard and train new team members on our tools and standards (Asana, Canva, brand guidelines, and more)
Build a collaborative, high-performance team culture people are proud to be part of
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field
8+ years in a marketing leadership role; senior living or multi-location business experience strongly preferred
Broad, hands-on fluency across the full marketing spectrum: web design, digital marketing, PR, print, direct mail, social media, and analytics. This role requires genuine comfort executing across all of these, not just overseeing them
A track record of managing partnerships, cross-functional projects, and creative teams that deliver
Hands-on experience with Asana, Canva, and social media management tools
Strong content strategy instincts, natural mentorship ability, and sharp event-planning skills
Comfortable using analytics and reporting to guide strategy and prove marketing ROI
Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly organized, with an eye for detail that never lets quality slip
Preferred Experience
Background in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or franchise marketing models
Genuine comfort getting hands-on with content: writing, creative direction, photography, videography
Willingness to travel occasionally for events and community support
